Pelichet, the Swiss leader in mobility solutions, opens a new agency in Orbe, a Swiss municipality in the canton of Vaud, located in the Jura-Nord vaudois district, on the river that bears its name, the Orbe.

A well-Integrated moving agency

The agency, certified ISO 9001, FIDI, and SMA (Swiss Advocates Association), offers transfer solutions such as office relocation, heavy lifting, and industrial site relocation. It will also soon develop physical and digital moving and archiving solutions. A sales technician is on-site and responds to each request, working closely with the Geneva teams, direct contacts for major watch brands.

The Orbe agency has made a name for itself in the canton through moving actions such as the transfer of the Lausanne University offices, as well as support and sponsorship, such as with the Swiss Football Association (including 4 municipalities, including the Yverdon women’s team).

Located by the highway and in the most dynamic industrial zone of Orbe (adjacent to the Nestlé factory), the agency comprises a multi-story site with logistics spaces, offices, and warehouses. With over 100 m2 available for all present or visiting teams and a storage area that accommodates all types of packaging (cardboard, wood, special papers, others) for clients. The 100 m2 logistics area hosts client equipment. Pelichet has opted for dedicated multisite vehicles to promote resource sharing.

With strong commitments

Just like in Geneva, the agency supports Green Attitudes. “We connect companies getting rid of their office furniture with companies in need of new furniture,” explains StĂ©phane Disant. This initiative helps limit waste, avoiding high fees at the landfill. Beneficiaries receive equipment in excellent condition. This circular economy initiative supports Pelichet’s commitment to the environment. In partnership with Helvetia Environnement, Pelichet is committed to producing energy from waste processing (cardboard, wood, plastic, steel) and ensuring energy recovery by segregating waste from used wood/steel valorization in the heat and electricity production process.

Today, between Orbe and Geneva, Pelichet covers the entire Swiss Romande region, totaling 9500 km2. The agencies handle requests in French, English, and German as needed, providing localized and quality service to its clients.
